Crying Netherite
Hello everyone!
I'm excited to present my very first Minecraft mod! As a newcomer to mod development, I created this project using MCreator, which allowed me to bring my ideas to life without deep programming knowledge.
New Equipment and Tools
The mod adds a completely new set of armor and tools that are crafted in a smithing table. For crafting you'll need:
- Regular Netherite armor/tools
- New Crying Smithing Template (can be duplicated using 7 diamonds and one Crying Obsidian)
- Crying Netherite Ingot
Unique Materials and Crafts
The game features a new flower - Crying Poppy, which rarely appears in warped forests and nether wastes of the Nether. This flower has several uses:
- Brewing resistance potions
- Crafting Crying Dust, which can be smelted into Crying Netherite Nuggets
- Nuggets are used to create Crying Netherite Ingots
Alternative method for creating ingots: regular Netherite ingot + 4 obsidian + 4 Crying Obsidian.
Upgrade System
For gear upgrades, you need a special Crying Smithing Template crafted from a regular Netherite template, Netherite ingot, and Crying Obsidian block.
Achievements and Compatibility
The mod includes 3 new achievements designed in the style of vanilla Minecraft advancements. Currently, the mod works only with Forge version 1.20.1, but future version support expansion is planned.
