(04/04/2022) Even though it's April, the Christmas spirit continues! This major update brings a new mob - the Nutcracker, as well as plenty of other festive content. Be among the first to try it!
📋 Basic Information
The current mod version is Happy Holidays v1.3, created for Minecraft 1.18 (Forge). For proper operation, installation of an additional mod is required: GeckoLib 3.0.11 for Minecraft 1.18.1 | GeckoLib 3.0.12 for Minecraft 1.18.2.

Looking for a way to refresh your Minecraft gameplay? Want to add something new while preserving the familiar game atmosphere? Then Happy Holidays is exactly what you need!
This mod is dedicated to holidays from around the world and seamlessly integrates them into the game mechanics. Currently, Christmas has been added to the game, with more holidays coming in the future.
The main goal of Happy Holidays is to enhance the vanilla Minecraft experience. All content is available in survival mode (with varying difficulty levels) and complements existing game mechanics rather than replacing them.
🛠 Installation
- Make sure you have Minecraft Forge installed for the appropriate game version
- Download and add GeckoLib to the mods folder
- Download the appropriate version of Happy Holidays and place it in the "mods" folder
- Enjoy the game! It's recommended to create backup copies of worlds where you plan to use the mod
🎄 Christmas Adventure
While traveling through the Overworld, Santa Claus accidentally scattered his magical items all over the world! Now he's asking for players' help - to collect everything lost and return it before something irreversible happens.
The Christmas version of Happy Holidays adds a huge number of new blocks, items, and creatures:
- Various tree decorations: baubles, large baubles, tinsel, Christmas lights, mob heads, legendary ornaments
- Festive dishes for organizing a luxurious feast
- Sheet music for famous Christmas carols for music boxes
- Christmas stars that can be decorated with legendary ornaments to gain in-game bonuses
- New mobs: Gingerbread Man, Grinch, and Santa Claus himself
- Gift wrapping system for exchanging with other players
- Achievements and in-game guides for easy navigation through the content
- And much more!

⚠️ Important Information
Happy Holidays is in active development, and many features will be refined with each update. Please share feedback to improve the mod! It's recommended to create backup copies of worlds before updating, as changes may affect your progress.
For users updating the mod from one version to another (e.g., from 1.17 to 1.18): Currently, there's an issue where Forge doesn't recognize updated item IDs and deletes contents of containers with Happy Holidays items. It's better not to update existing worlds immediately!
