The Automaton is based on different Create components. Initially has no abilities, but you get to choose three different abilities based on the three different ages in Create (Andesite, Copper, Brass)
Base Passives
**Stress**
- You have a stress bar, each ability will use some amount of stress so don't overuse yourself. If you do manage to overstress yourself you will no longer be able to use any abilities and will move slower until you are de-stressed.
- Stress meter ranges from 0 - 1000
- There are a few ways to gain stress
- Using your abilities
- Taking Damage
- Being below 5 hearts
**Iron Clad**
- You have increased max health (+5 hearts)
- You have increased base armor (+2 armor)
**Heavy Machinery**
- You cannot jump
- You are 30% slower
- Can walk up 1-block high
**Self Repair**
- This gives a way for the user to "repair" themselves as natural regeneration is disabled. This passive was heavily inspired by Bastion from Overwatch
- Stand still for 5 seconds to activate `Self Repair`. While active, a yellow ring will be shown around you while you repair yourself
- The speed at which you are repaired heavily depends on your hunger. The following shows the rate of repair depending on the amount of hunger shanks you have
- `20 shanks` -> `1 heart/0.5 sec`
- `19 shanks` -> `1 heart/0.6 sec`
- `18 shanks` -> `1 heart/0.7 sec`
- `17 shanks` -> `1 heart/0.8 sec`
- `16 shanks` -> `1 heart/0.9 sec`
- `15 shanks` -> `1 heart/1.0 sec`
- `14 shanks` -> `1 heart/1.2 sec`
- `13 shanks` -> `1 heart/1.4 sec`
- `12 shanks` -> `1 heart/1.6 sec`
- `11 shanks` -> `1 heart/1.8 sec`
- `10 shanks` -> `1 heart/2.0 sec`
- `9 shanks` -> `1 heart/2.3 sec`
- `8 shanks` -> `1 heart/2.6 sec`
- `7 shanks` -> `1 heart/3.0 sec`
- `6 shanks` -> `1 heart/3.5 sec`
- `5 shanks` -> `1 heart/4.0 sec`
- `4 shanks` -> `1 heart/4.5 sec`
- `3 shanks` -> `1 heart/4.8 sec`
- `2 shanks` -> `1 heart/5.0 sec`
- `1 & 0 shanks` -> `No healing`
**Machine Like (Hidden)**
- This passive aims to make the player feel less "organic" and more mechanical
- Insomnia is disabled for the user, meaning phantoms will never spawn for you. You can still sleep to skip the night
- Natural regeneration is disables as it felt too "organic" as machines cannot heal like people can. This means that huner and saturation no longer heals you
- Due to the changes in health and hunger/saturation, this origin will now be immune to the following:
- Regeneration
- Instant Health
- Wither
- Poison
- Health Boost
- Hunger
- Saturation
**Fuel (Hidden)**
- You can now eat coal and charcoal as food
- Gives 6 hunger shanks and 3.6 saturation
- You can still eat regular food
Andesite Age - Primary Ability
**Andesite Casing**
- Adds no abilities, does nothing
**Hand Crank**
- De-stress yourself overtime by holding down your primary key.
- De-stresses for 5 stress/0.5 seconds
**Toolbox**
- Open a 3x3 inventory space
- Items are kept upon death
- Uses 0 stress
**Mechanical Press**
- Hold your primary key to charge your press, letting go will knockback entities based on how charged it was.
- 0-49: 0 knockback | 0 stress
- 50-99: knock entities with a velocity of 0.5 | 50 stress
- 100-149: knock entities with a velocity of 1 | 100 stress
- 150-199: knock entities with a velocity of 1.5 | 150 stress
- 200-249: knock entities with a velocity of 2 | 200 stress
- 250-299: knock entities with a velocity of 2.5 | 250 stress
- 300-350: knock entities with a velocity of 3 | 300 stress
- Passive +20% damage
**Encased Fan**
- Hold your primary key to fly into the air, while flying you have slow falling.
- Uses 5 stress/tick
- Passive + 15% speed (after Heavy Machinery)
**Mechanical Drill**
- Activate your drill using your primary key
- When active:
- Can break block with a hardness less than 3
- Increased break speed
- 20 stress/block broken
**Weighted Ejector**
- Launch yourself in the direction you are facing at incredible speeds and heights!
- 200 stress/launch
- 15 second cooldown
- Passively never take fall damage
Copper Age - Secondary Ability
**Copper Casing**
- Adds no abilities, does nothing
**Steam Engine**
- De-stress 200 stress
- 20 second cooldown
**Steam Whistle**
- Activate ability with secondary key
- +100% attack speed. +25% damage. +50% knockback
- Lasts 15 seconds
- 45 second cooldown
- Uses 250 stress
**Valve**
- Toggle a valve, when open:
- Naturally de-stressed 2x faster
- 15% slower
- When closed:
- Nothing
**Diving Helmet**
- Can breathe infinitely underwater
- See perfectly underwater
- Swim a little faster
- Constant 120 stress used
**Fluid Tank**
- Be able to hold up to 4 buckets of water and lava. Drink buckets to store them
- You may take out water and lava using their respective buttons while holding a bucket.
- `Secondary Ability` -> water
- `Load Hotbar Activator` -> lava
- 120 stress/bucket
- If you are not holding a bucket or bottle when you press your secondary ability key
- Use 10 mB from both lava and water tanks
- Create cobblestone in your inventory
- 2 stress/cobblestone
Brass Age - Tertiary Ability [Save Hotbar Activator]
**Brass Casing**
- Adds no abilities, does nothing
**Rotational Speed Controller**
- Hold your tertiary ability key to increase speed
- +30% speed
- 10 stress/3 ticks
**Mechanical Crafter**
- Open up a crafting menu anytime using your tertiary ability.
- 80 stress everytime you open the menu
**Mechanical Arm**
- Increase Reach by +50%
- Constant 200 stress used
**Display Link**
- Allows you to passively view information about Create contraptions without the need of Goggles
- Constant 150 stress used
**Potato Cannon**
- Allows you to shoot an infinite amount of potatoes
- 65 stress/shot
- 15 tick cooldown
- Potatoes break upon hitting the ground or an entity
- Speed of 2.5
- Divergence of 0
**Blaze Bruner**
- Instantly smelt items in your main hand
- Stress gained is dependent on how much of an item you hold. A maximum of `256 stress` can be gained from a 64 stack smelt

Extra Doodads [Passive abilities]
**Cover**
- Does nothing
**Stressometer**
- Displays your stress as a numeric value instead of a bar
**Seat**
- Allows other players to ride you
**Cuckoo Clock**
- Displays the in game time as a readable format
- Use the `Highlight Players (Spectators)` key to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour formats
**Flywheel**
- Increases rate of stress loss when overstressed
- -1 stress/5 ticks -> -1 stress/4 ticks
**Train Casing**
- Decreases amount of stress gained when damaged
- 75 stress when damage -> 50 stress when damaged
**Super Glue**
- Allows players to climb walls
**Item Vault**
- Allows you to keep items after death
- Does not keep armor worn or anything in your off-hand, those will still drop as normal
**Clutch**
- A form of revival, the clutch allows a player to take lethal damage once
- When you take lethal damage for the first time, you will survive with 2 hearts and all effects cleared
- If you take lethal damage a second time, you will die like normal
