Description
This mod introduces a birthsign system that grants players both passive bonuses and active abilities, similar in spirit to a lightweight Origins-style system. At the start, each player is randomly assigned a birthsign, but you can later change it by interacting with Menhir Stones that generate naturally in the world (with support for Antique Atlas).
Features
- 16 unique birthsigns in the initial release.
- Each birthsign provides one passive and one active ability.
- Active abilities have limited uses per day and reset daily.
- Fully configurable via JSON, allowing you to create your own custom birthsigns.
- Custom birthsigns can be added by placing JSON files in the
config/menhir/birthsigns
directory (create the directory if it doesn't exist). - Until full documentation is provided, you can inspect the source of existing birthsigns for reference in the Menhir GitHub repository. This directory contains JSON files defining the properties and behaviors of each birthsigns, which can guide you in creating and customizing your own.
