🦠 WELCOME TO NECROTIC ASSIMILATION MOD

This mod brings a deadly bacterial infection that spreads silently through your Minecraft world.
Once a harmless microorganism, it has now evolved into a horrifying entity that takes control of minds, transforms bodies, and decays life...

🎯 THE GOAL IS CLEAR:
Infect all living beings and unite them under a single mind.
No creature, structure, or biome is safe.
The sky has faded, the forests have fallen silent.
Only the muffled groans of the infected remain...

🧠 MENTAL STATE:
This infection controls the muscular system, not the brain.
The mind remains conscious and aware of what is happening…
But the body is no longer theirs.
A consciousness watching its own horror through its eyes… silently screaming.

🧪 INFECTION STAGES

STAGE [I] – INCUBATION PHASE 

VERSİON: V0.0.1-Alpha[A]

This is the initial spreading phase of the infection. It usually spreads through infected animals (though rumors whisper that some underground structures are sources as well 👀).
Entities at this stage infect others within 5 blocks with a 1% chance.
Symptoms are not yet apparent and hard to detect.
Infected entities behave normally, enabling silent spreading.

🟥 VIRULENT HOLLOW
Duration: 2 minutes
Effect: No symptoms.
The bacteria quietly multiply inside the host.
Eyes appear empty and muscles twitch slightly... something stirs inside.

🟧 SYSTEMIC BREAKDOWN
Duration: 1 minute
Effect: Hunger, Mining Fatigue, Slowness, Weakness
This simulates the collapse of the host’s internal systems.
At the end, the host dies... but this death is only the beginning of spreading.

STAGE [II] – MIND CONTROL

VERSİON: V0.4.0-Alpha[A]

At this stage, the body is fully controlled by bacteria. Muscles are manipulated while the mind remains conscious but powerless.
They have weak attack power and low health.
The goal is to spread and multiply, not to kill.
They behave like zombies, but their consciousness isn’t fully lost.
The original personality faintly glows in their eyes.

 

STAGE [III] – HUNTER FORM

VERSİON: V0.7.0-Alpha[A]
The infection has reached a strategic phase. It not only spreads but eliminates beings that threaten or block its propagation.
They have no sight but use enhanced hearing to locate targets.
They don’t kill all living things, only those dangerous to the infection.
They don’t spread infection, they destroy.
Deal massive damage.
They can’t hear far, but if they sense danger, they launch an irreversible attack.
Sometimes emit a mind-shattering scream (Cerebral Rupture)—see mechanics section for details.

 

STAGE [IV]- COMMING SOON...

Not only living beings, but even nature itself will kneel before this infection.

🧷 MECHANICS

🧬 CONTAGION MECHANICS


⚪ Stage [I]:
Entities at this stage infect others within 5 blocks with 1% chance.
You can only identify if an entity is at Stage [I] once it progresses to Stage [II].
Therefore, HARDCORE mode is not recommended, as infection is irreversible.

 

⚪ Stage [II]:
Entities at Stage [II] infect others within 6 blocks with a 10% chance.
This makes them significantly more contagious.

🧟‍♂️ ROOTING MEAT

This infected entity appears in two ways:

10% chance when infected entities take damage.

Rarely spawns structurally (to be added later).


It has two forms:


☠️ Passive Form:

Directly converts contacted beings to Stage [II].

💢 Active Form (4 Phases):

Phase 1: Behaves like Passive Form.

Phase 2: Like Passive Form but does not enter.

Phase 3: Leaves infected blocks while moving.

Phase 4: Stands still, spreading infected blocks up to 50 blocks away.
This form is a true disease core; no armor, enchantment, or totem is effective.

 

🧠 MIND-SHATTERING SCREAM (CEREBRAL RUPTURE):

 

Emitted sometimes by Stage [III] entities, this scream is a powerful psychological attack disrupting the player’s mental state and inducing panic.
Applies bad effects like Poison, Hunger, Nausea, Slowness, Weakness in waves.
Distorts player’s FOV and control.
A hallucinatory, purely psychological attack that breaks reality.

 

🌍 ENVIRONMENTAL ERUPTION:


Infected entities can cause environmental corruption, allowing infection to spread not only through creatures but also environmentally.
Randomly spreads infection within 20 blocks.
Leaves infected blocks under them.
Allows slow, unnoticed environmental takeover.

 

🧠 NEUROTRIGGER REBOUND:

 

When a player kills an infected entity, there is a rare chance that the nervous systems of other infected within a 6-block radius become destabilized. Their connection to the Hive Mind is momentarily disrupted, causing a break in mental synchronization. As a result, the infected temporarily weaken: for 10 seconds, their movements slow down and their attack power is reduced. The infection's normally cohesive structure briefly collapses, granting the player a short window of respite. However, this phenomenon is extremely rare, as the collective link usually remains dominant. Players who witness this weakness must be observant enough to recognize the underlying mental fracture behind it.

 

💀 INSPIRATION
This mod was created out of great admiration for the Scape and Run: Parasites mod.
But Necrotic Assimilation is here to start its own dark evolution.

I didn’t just want to admire what I was inspired by; I wanted to create my own nightmare.
