NoFrills Mod

It's in the name. Simple and effective Hypixel Skyblock mod for modern versions (1.20+) of Minecraft.

Click to expand feature list - **General** - **Auto Sprint**: Essentially ToggleSprint, but always active. - **Chat Waypoints**: Automatically creates waypoints for coordinates sent in Party/All chat. - **Custom Keybinds**: Create keybinds that run a custom command when pressed. - **Etherwarp Overlay**: Highlights the targeted block with the Ether Transmission ability. - **Fullbright**: You know him, you love him. Includes Potion mode for proper shaders support. - **No Render**: Prevent various things from appearing. - **Party Commands**: Provide various chat commands to your party members. - **Pearl Refill**: Easily refill your Ender Pearls from your sacks with a keybind. - **Price Tooltips**: Adds pricing information to item tooltips. - **Slot Binding**: Bind your hotbar slots to your inventory slots, similarly to NEU's Slot Binding feature. - **Viewmodel**: Customize the appearance and swing animation of your held item. - **Wardrobe Hotkeys**: Adds number hotkeys (1-9) to the Skyblock wardrobe. - **Tweaks** - **Animation Fix**: Fixes the ancient bug where certain animations can play twice, such as unsneaking. - **Anti Swim**: Prevents the crawling and the swimming animations from activating. - **Double Use Fix**: Fixes Blaze Daggers and Fishing Rods being able to activate twice at once. - **Efficiency Fix**: Fixes the Efficiency enchant being ping and lag dependent. - **Item Count Fix**: Prevents the game from hiding item counts for unstackable items. - **Middle Click Fix**: Allows the middle mouse button to work just as it does on 1.8.9. - **Middle Click Override**: Replaces left clicks with middle clicks in applicable GUI's, making navigation smoother. - **No Ability Place**: Prevents block items with abilities from being placeable client side, such as the Egglocator. - **No Drop Swing**: Don't swing your hand while dropping items. - **No Front Perspective**: Removes the front facing camera perspective. - **No Loading Screen**: Fully removes the loading terrain screen that appears when switching islands. - **No Pearl Cooldown**: Removes the visual cooldown from Ender Pearls. - **Old Sneak**: Restores the old sneaking eye height and hitbox size. - **Riding Camera Fix**: Removes the floaty camera movement effect while riding entities. - **Sneak Lag Fix**: Fixes lag backs that occur when you sneak while walking. - **Snow Fix**: Adjusts snow layer collision to reduce lagbacks. - **Stonk Fix**: Reverts Microsoft's client side stonking patch. - **Misc** - **Auto Requeue**: Automatically starts a new Dungeons/Kuudra run once finished. - **Hotbar Swap**: A simple alternative to slot binding with no configuration needed. - **Party Finder**: Various features for your monkey finding adventures. - **Recipe Lookup**: Search up recipes for the hovered item with a keybind. - **Tooltip Scale**: Customize the scale of item tooltips. - **Update Checker**: Checks if a NoFrills update is available the first time you join any world/server. - **Solvers** - **Calendar Date**: Calculates the exact starting dates of events in the Skyblock calendar. - **Experiments**: Solves the Experimentation Table mini-games and prevents wrong clicks. - **Spooky Chests**: Highlights nearby trick or treat chests during the Spooky Festival. - **Fishing** - **Cap Tracker**: Tracks the sea creature cap. Click to expand command list - **Mod Commands** (accessed under `/nofrills`, or `/nf` for short) - **checkUpdate**: Manually check if a new version of the mod is available for download. - **copyCoords**: Copy your current coordinates to your clipboard, optionally in a specific format. - **partyCommands**: Command for managing the `Party Commands` feature. - **queue**: Shortcut for the Skyblock `/joininstance` command, letting you easily start a Kuudra/Dungeon run. - **sendCoords**: Send your current coordinates in the chat, optionally in a specific format. - **settings**: Opens the settings GUI (same behavior as running `/nofrills` without any arguments). - **getPearls**: Same behavior as the Refill Pearls hotkey. - **ping**: Checks your ping. - **hudEditor**: Opens the HUD editor. - **Other Commands** (not under `/nofrills`) - **/yeet**: Instantly closes Minecraft.

Installation

  • Head over to the releases tab, grab the .jar file from the most recent release, and add it to your mods folder.
  • Additional dependencies needed to launch the mod:
  • To finish off, open the mod's settings, and configure it to your liking. Every feature is off by default.

Incompatibilities

  • Some highlight features might not render correctly with Iris shaders active.

Credits

  • Orbit: Event system which keeps the mod blazing fast.
  • Skyblocker: Has more info on how YACL works than its own wiki, and allowed me to borrow some obscure functions like reading the scoreboard text.
  • clientcommands: Taught me rendering magic with mixins.
  • ViaFabricPlus: Allowed me to borrow the mixin targets for Anti Swim and Old Sneak.
