Serene Seasons Plus is a complete rebuild inspired by the concept of Serene Seasons Extended, but redesigned from the ground up for better performance, expanded features, and broader compatibility.
While it shares the same vision of improving seasonal immersion, the internal systems, snow handling, and configuration options are entirely new.

🌞 Dynamic Day & Night Lengths

• Adjusts day/night cycle based on the current subseason.
• Works with Better Days for precise time control.
• Supports custom daylight multipliers (e.g., 1 = normal, 2 = twice as fast).

❄️ Bedrock-Style Snow Behavior

• Snow piles up layer-by-layer during snowfall.
• Melting removes only one layer instead of the entire block.
• Smart backoff system:
  
  • Pauses snow removal for 10 seconds after repeated failed attempts.
  • Requires the player to move at least 10 blocks before retrying.

🧵 Async Weather Service

• Snow piling/removal logic runs in an asynchronous thread for smoother gameplay.
• Async toggle available in the config:
  
  • Requires ≥ 6 CPU cores.
  • Disabled by default on 6-core CPUs but can be enabled.
• Configurable tick intervals for snow logic checks.
