Archipelago Additions Modpack

Overview

Archipelago Additions represents a comprehensive expansion for the Isle of Berk modification, significantly broadening the diversity of dragons in your game. This pack utilizes Nord_Act's Isle of Berk Variant Loader, which enables the addition of remodeled versions of existing dragons without replacing those already present. However, please note that some models may show ability mismatches.

Pack Contents

Archipelago Additions includes several key components:

• Core AA datapack and resource pack (datapack requires individual installation per world - detailed instructions available in our knowledge base)
• AA configuration files
• All necessary base mods for pack functionality

Visual Enhancements

Features semi-transparent glowing textures that render correctly only with shaders enabled.

Performance Optimization

Special mods to compensate for FPS reduction when using shaders.

Gameplay Assistance

JEI displays modified crafting recipes.

Content Expansion

Inferno's IoB addon that deepens the How to Train Your Dragon universe atmosphere.

Development and Licensing

The Archipelago Additions project was created through the collaborative efforts of developers: LuckiestLycan, Mqzikeen, SakuraBabochka, Gecko_sauce, DragonTamer, and Blue. Assets are provided by talented creators: Ness, Immersed, VLS, Chrys, Will (NBD team), as well as MazingA, GrayDoesn'tExist, Roar, and SomeGuy (NBD community).

Most dragon models are based on original Isle of Berk models due to technical constraints of the animation system. Archipelago Additions does not claim authorship of these models - they were created by the IoB team and now belong to the NBD project. We have permission to use these assets provided we maintain addon status to IoB/NBD and avoid false authorship claims.

Developer credits may be updated. Current information always matches the latest pack version.
