This mod fundamentally transforms the gameplay mechanics of certain peaceful and hostile inhabitants of the Minecraft world, granting them significantly enhanced target-tracking abilities over vast distances.

Key Changes

The traditional interaction distances between in-game characters have been substantially expanded. Villagers, wandering traders, menacing dungeon dwellers, and witches can now detect players and respond to them from distances that far exceed standard parameters. This affects various behavioral aspects:

• Peaceful inhabitants react more quickly to approaching threats
• Wayfarers demonstrate different travel patterns
• Magical beings begin their combat preparation rituals earlier
• Nefarious NPCs identify target locations through obstacles

Specific Gameplay Adjustments

The base tracking parameter has been increased to a maximum of 256 blocks. This means the specified creature types will detect the presence of enemies or potential allies from much greater distances than before. The AI reaction territory has been substantially enlarged.

Consequences of Such Significant Vision Improvements

The gameplay experience becomes notably different. Approaching peaceful villages now requires special attention during early stages. It can be quite surprising to discover that inhabitants are already reacting to you when you've merely appeared at the settlement boundaries. Consequently, those wishing to avoid unnecessary contact must plan their route meticulously rather than moving directly. Combative creatures show aggression preemptively, demonstrating the impossibility of stealth movement near their habitats.
