Accurate Maps
What is this mod?
A small quality of life mod that changes the standard color palette of maps in Minecraft, making it more accurate and matching the actual colors of in-game blocks.
How does it work?
Accurate Maps works by sending additional information to the client about the block being displayed on the map. Using this extra data, the client can calculate the block color more accurately.
When a map doesn't contain additional information, the system automatically falls back to the standard vanilla colors. This ensures that mods using the standard map system to display custom content continue to work without issues.
Resource pack support
Since the color is sampled directly from the block texture rather than from a predefined color list, resource packs are fully supported by the mod.
