Act

Pretend you have friends... But you're in a singleplayer world.

Create Actors (also called "NPCs") using the /actor [Player Name] command. This may change in the future. Actors can follow you if you right-click using the Follow Stick. You can make them stop at any time by using the Follow Stick again!

IMPORTANT: Starting from version 1.2.0, the Act mod includes a new artificial intelligence that may sometimes malfunction or cause crashes! If this occurs, please report the issue if it's not already listed

How can Act be used?

Act can be used to feel less lonely (this depends on the person), take screenshots with people you could never take screenshots with! Or just create stylish statues.

In the future, Actors will be able to move along a user-defined path or defend players from mobs!

Actor Artificial Intelligence

Actor AI powers their movement, using complex equations and conditions to move an Actor from one place to another. Actor AI doesn't use Minecraft's standard AI. Actor AI moves from axis to axis rather than from block to block or simply moving forward.

Known Bugs

• TPS drops to 0 when loading Actor
• Actor entity doesn't receive knockback when damaged by entity or player
• Actor AI sometimes makes the entity spin in place (then continues)
• Actor AI has difficulty with obstacles
• Actor cannot fully break a block
