Actually Compatible - Solving Mod Compatibility Issues
Have you ever encountered the annoying red incompatibility marker even when the client and server have identical mods? This problem occurs due to technical limitations in Minecraft.
Causes of Errors
Minecraft has a limit on the amount of data that can be transmitted during mod compatibility checks. Additionally, Forge has a hard limit on the number of mods that can be checked - no more than 160. When this number is exceeded, the check automatically fails.
How the Solution Works
The Actually Compatible mod dramatically increases the compatibility check packet size - from 32 KB to 100 KB by default. You can also configure your own packet size value through the configuration file. An important feature is the removal of the 160 mod limit set in Forge.
All these improvements together ensure the proper functioning of the compatibility checking system. Now in the client logs you will receive an accurate list of truly incompatible mods.
When all mods become actually compatible, the red cross is replaced by a green success checkmark.
Reliability of Verification
This solution has been successfully tested in builds with over 600 mods and provides accurate check results. If you discover any issues, report them through the appropriate tab.
