The Additional Additions mod significantly expands Minecraft gameplay by offering numerous useful features and items that make the game more diverse and convenient.
Main Features
Ropes
Use ropes for easy climbing up and down vertical surfaces.
Copper Patina
Get copper patina by scraping the oxidized layer off copper blocks. This material can be used in construction and redstone mechanisms.
Wrench
Rotate blocks using a wrench. It can also be placed in a dispenser for automatic block rotation.
Rose Gold
A new alloy of gold and copper, crafted from 4 gold and 4 copper ingots. Use rose gold to upgrade iron items on a smithing table.
In versions 1.20 and above, you'll need a rose gold upgrade that can be found in various dungeons: mineshafts, underwater ruins, pillager outposts, and shipwrecks.
Crossbow with Spyglass
Aim with the crossbow by holding Shift to zoom in on your target.
New Enchantments
- Precision - a new crossbow enchantment that increases accuracy
- Speed - a boots enchantment that increases player movement speed
Watering Can
Water your crops with a watering can to speed up their growth!
New Foods
Try new dishes: sweet berry pie, fried egg, and honeyed apple!
Amethyst Lamp
Doesn't light up the area but reduces mob spawning within an 8-block radius!
Trident Shard
Craft tridents from shards that drop from elder guardians.
Glow Sticks
Throw glow sticks to illuminate the surrounding area.
Mysterious Bag
Buy mysterious bags from wandering traders and get random items!
Gilded Netherite
Upgrade netherite items with gold rings. Increases enchantability, and piglins won't attack you!
In versions 1.20 and above, you'll need a gilded netherite upgrade that can be found in ruined portal chests.
Gold Ring
Used to craft gilded netherite. Obtained by bartering with piglins.
Pocket Jukebox
Listen to your favorite music on the go! Use it like a bundle: right-click with a music disc in inventory to put it in, right-click with an empty cursor to take it out.
Depth Meter
Measure your depth underground or underwater.
Music Discs
Listen to 3 new music discs!
Additional Features
- Rotten flesh is now compostable
- Powered rails can be crafted using copper ingots
- Bundles are now craftable!
- You'll glow after eating a glow berry
- Haste potions are now brewable!
- Spyglasses spawn in shipwrecks
- Note blocks play amethyst sounds on amethyst blocks
- Have fun with 10 new advancements!
- Don't like something? Just disable it in the settings!
The configuration file is located in the "config" folder and is named "additional-additions-config.json". You can enable and disable any features as you wish!
