Additional Attributes - Additional Attributes

The Additional Attributes mod expands Minecraft's attribute system by adding new useful characteristics for various game mechanics.

Enchantment-Based Attributes

The mod includes several attributes that work based on enchantment values:

  • Looting (additional_attributes:looting)
  • Fishing Lure (additional_attributes:fishing_lure)
  • Fishing Luck (additional_attributes:fishing_luck)

The base value of these attributes corresponds to the enchantment level. Multiply_base and multiply_total modifiers won't have any effect without the enchantment itself, while addition will be considered in the multiply_total calculation.

Harvest Attribute

The additional_attributes:harvest attribute increases the amount of harvested crops. Each unit of addition adds one additional crop (not seeds), with the base value corresponding to the initial amount of harvested items.

Apotheosis Integration

The mod adds a special attribute for creating items with affixes in Apotheosis. The attribute value determines the chance of obtaining different rarities:

  • 0-1: from no effect to common rarity
  • 1-2: from common to uncommon rarity
  • 2-3: from uncommon to rare rarity
  • 3-4: from rare to epic rarity
  • 4-5: from epic to mythic rarity
  • 5-6: from mythic to ancient rarity
  • 6+: guaranteed ancient rarity

A value of 0 has no effect, while a value of 1.3 gives a 30% chance of considering uncommon rarity. The luck attribute still affects the final rarity selection.

Apotheosis Settings

Server configuration is available to limit the maximum rarity of crafted items. There's also a blacklist of item tags (additional_attributes:apothic_crafting_blacklist). Using datapacks, you can define minimum and maximum rarities for specific items.

Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks Integration

Changing Spell Levels

The mod adds three types of attributes for managing spell levels:

  • General attribute for all spells (additional_attributes:spell_general)
  • Attributes for magic schools (additional_attributes:spellschool<...>)
  • Attributes for spell types (additional_attributes:spelltype<...>)

The base value corresponds to the level of the spell being used. Attributes of all three types work together - their modifiers are summed before calculation. Spells with a maximum level of 1 typically don't increase (configurable). If the spell level reaches 0 due to negative modifiers, the spell cannot be cast.

Adding Spells to Selection

These spells become available regardless of the current spellbook, weapon, etc.:

  • Attributes for schools (additional_attributes:innate_school//)
  • Attributes for spells (additional_attributes:innate_spell//)

Other Features

The additional_attributes:keep_scroll attribute gives a chance not to consume a scroll when used. Value from 0 (0% chance) to 1 (100% chance). Multiply_base and multiply_total modifiers without prior addition have no effect.
