The Advanced Amethyst mod unlocks the ability to create a complete set of tools and armor from amethyst, including versatile tools like the paxel, hammer, and excavator. The amethyst set occupies an intermediate position between diamond and netherite equipment, offering improved characteristics compared to diamond but falling short of netherite.
Amethyst Armor Characteristics
Amethyst armor provides reliable protection with the following parameters:
- Helmet: 3 protection points, durability 385
- Chestplate: 8 protection points, durability 560
- Leggings: 6 protection points, durability 525
- Boots: 3 protection points, durability 455
All armor pieces have a toughness rating of 2.5 and do not provide knockback resistance.
Amethyst Tools and Weapons
The standard set of amethyst tools has the following characteristics:
- Sword: damage 7.5, attack speed 1.6, efficiency 8.5
- Pickaxe: damage 5.5, attack speed 1.2, efficiency 8.5
- Axe: damage 9.5, attack speed 1, efficiency 8.5
- Shovel: damage 3, attack speed 1, efficiency 8.5
- Hoe: damage 1, attack speed 4, efficiency 8.5
All tools have a durability of 1792 units.

The mod also includes three unique tools with extended functionality:
- Paxel: damage 7.3, attack speed 1.1, efficiency 8.5, durability 5376
- Hammer: damage 5.5, attack speed 1.2, efficiency 8.5, durability 1792
