Advanced Combat - Enhanced Combat Modification for Minecraft
The Advanced Combat mod fundamentally transforms the weapon and enchantment system in Minecraft, offering players incredibly powerful weapons and flexible item enhancement options. From simple wooden swords to the legendary nether star sword - everyone will find weapons to suit their taste and skill level.
Enhanced Enchantment System
Forget about traditional enchantment tables and enchanted books! Advanced Combat introduces special enchantment upgrades that allow you to directly select desired enchantments for tools and armor. Simply craft the item with the corresponding upgrade, and the enchantment level will increase by one.
For true enthusiasts, elite enchantment upgrades are available, allowing you to exceed standard maximum levels by two times. However, be prepared for significant resource costs!
Expanded Arsenal
The mod includes numerous additional elements previously available in Advanced Addons:
- Improved durability tooltips for all wearable items
- Enhanced bow that shoots arrows faster and more powerfully than the standard one, with guaranteed critical hits
- Durable shield with increased longevity
- Unique armor sets made from wood, stone, nether fortress, and obsidian, each with their own special properties
- Tracking dispenser that automatically attacks the nearest living entities within a 32-block radius
- Creative sword that instantly destroys any targets in creative mode

Swords from wooden to nether!
Crafting the nether sword requires significant resources: regular nether star sword (2 stars + stick), beacon, nether star block (9 stars), and 2 enchanted golden apples.
Most recipes are much simpler. For example, to create an enhanced iron sword, simply combine a regular sword with an iron block:
