Advanced Inventory - Expanded Inventory for Minecraft
Annoyed by how small Minecraft's default inventory is? Tired of stacks limited to only 64 items, and having your inventory fill up instantly in large modpacks, preventing proper gameplay?
This mod is made specifically for you!
Main Features
Increased Item Stack Size
By default, stack size is increased to 50,000 items! However, there's an important note - existing 64-item stacks don't automatically merge. You need to move items manually or use inventory sorting to combine them.
Important for creative mode: In creative mode, stacks larger than 64 items may work incorrectly - items can disappear or not function properly. We recommend taking one block at a time instead of the entire stack, which is sufficient in creative mode anyway.
To change the maximum stack size:
- Close your world
- Open the save folder
- Find the ServerConfig file
- Change the limitStackSize value to your desired number
- Save and reload the world
New Item - Mob Capture Device
Item appears as an ender pearl surrounded by iron. Left-click on a mob to capture it, right-click to release it. Works on all entities, including boats and minecarts!
Currently, the crafting recipe is temporarily not implemented.
Inventory Search
With such a large inventory, finding the right item becomes challenging. Enter the item name in the search bar - while scrolling, the desired item will appear in the side panel for quick transfer to the hotbar.
Additional Hotbar
Second hotbar (not displayed when working with containers) - perfect place for important items:
- Not affected by scrolling
- Always easily accessible
- Excellent for tools and building materials
- Items must be placed manually
Stacking Tools and Weapons
Now identical tools and weapons can be stacked! If one tool in the stack breaks, the quantity decreases by 1. Fight zombies with stacked swords until the entire stack is used up. The same applies to armor - it can stack in inventory (but not in equipment slots)
Increasing Inventory Slots
Special item allows you to increase the number of inventory slots. It can be found in chests, bought from villagers, or crafted yourself (shown above).
Compatibility
Mod works on Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 and can be used in any modpacks.
Known Issues
- Conflicts with some mods causing crashes
- Some items may disappear when exceeding standard stack size
