Tool Creation

Crafting

Tool creation recipes are similar to standard vanilla ones, but the ingredient placement is flipped.

Repair

Each tool can be repaired using the corresponding material.

Upgrading

Material Change

Any tool's material can be replaced with a better or cheaper one by simply combining it with the required amount of resources in the crafting grid.

Book Conversion

Enchanted books can be converted into enchantment templates, which are then used to apply spells to tools.

Enchantment Management

Applying Enchantments

Any tool can be combined with a compatible enchantment template to apply the corresponding spell.

Removing Enchantments

Using a special enchantment removal device, you can remove any spell from a tool. Simply right-click the device until you find the desired enchantment, then place it together with the tool in the crafting grid.

Returning Enchantments to Books

Enchantments can be returned to books by combining the enchantment template with a book in the crafting grid.

Combining Enchantments

As with enchanted books on an anvil, you can combine two identical enchantments to get a higher level by placing them together in the crafting grid.

Splitting Enchantments

An enchantment can be split into two lower-level enchantments by placing the enchantment template in the crafting grid.

Converting Standard Tools

Regular vanilla tools can be converted into improved versions by simply placing them in the crafting grid.
