Advancements Tracker - Achievement Tracking in Minecraft
Advancements Tracker is a client-side mod for Minecraft Forge that significantly simplifies monitoring your progress in completing achievements. Thanks to a convenient interface, you can easily track the completion of selected goals, making the gameplay more organized and enjoyable.
The mod offers advanced sorting and filtering capabilities for achievements, allowing you to get a complete overview of your progress. You'll be able to determine which achievements require priority attention and which are already close to completion.
🚀 Key Features
- Works exclusively on the client side but is compatible with multiplayer servers
- Complete overview of achievements with sorting and filtering options
- Display of completed and missing criteria for each achievement
- Simple system for tracking specific achievements and their progress
- Automatic conversion of encrypted criterion names into understandable descriptions
📜 Achievements Overview
The overview window opens with the CTRL + L key combination and shows all available achievements, allowing you to select specific ones for tracking.
🔎 Detailed Information
When clicking on any achievement in the overview, detailed information about completed and missing criteria is displayed, as well as a list of rewards if they are provided.
🎯 Tracking Widget
The widget is turned on and off using ALT + L and shows current progress on selected achievements being tracked.
💾 Settings Storage
Tracked achievements are saved directly in the client settings file and can be easily modified. Settings are saved separately for each server, allowing you to have different sets of tracked achievements. In local games, a shared set of achievements is used.
🌐 Criteria Translation
The mod replaces encrypted criterion names with understandable descriptions. Translations are added through language files. For untranslated criteria, a corresponding message appears in the client log:
advancement.minecraft.nether.summon_wither.summoned": "Summon a Wither"
You can add translations directly to your mods, mod packs, or through a pull request to this mod.
🗄️ Settings File
The settings file allows you to enable and disable the overview window and widget, as well as configure the position and size of the widget on the screen.
🧳 Mod Pack Support
You can set a default list of achievements to track in a specific order through the settings file. This is especially useful for mod packs where users first receive tutorial tasks and then other predefined goals. When using a predefined order, you can disable the overview window so users don't accidentally remove tracking.
🙋 Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a server-side or client-side mod?
Purely client-side mod, but installing it on the server won't cause harm.
Does it work with data packs?
If the data pack doesn't use its own achievement system, the mod should work out of the box.
Note: For Fabric, it's recommended to use Advancement Info, which offers similar functionality.
