Adventure Mode Tweaks - Enhanced Adventure Mode Configuration
The Adventure Mode Tweaks mod implements various adjustments to Minecraft's adventure mode mechanics. The initial concept originated from the observation that players can destroy paintings, which clearly contradicts the logic of this game mode. Over time, the mod's functionality has been significantly expanded.
For example, in the vanilla version of the game you can destroy minecarts but not place them, whereas with boats both actions are possible. Breaking leads can also disrupt the intentions of RPG map creators. All settings are customizable - you independently determine which capabilities to activate and which to disable.
An additional feature is the ability for all new players to automatically spawn in adventure mode. This is especially convenient for modpacks with specific scenarios.
Core Functionality (active in adventure mode):
- Complete configurability of all parameters through the configuration file
- Forced activation of adventure mode when generating new worlds with corresponding interface updates
- Blocking attacks on passive and/or hostile mobs
- Protection of paintings from player destruction
- Prevention of item frame destruction while maintaining the ability to extract contents
- Management of boat and minecart placement and destruction capabilities
- Complete disabling of interaction with entities
- Blocking of lead usage and destruction
- Prohibition of Ender Pearl usage
- Disabling the ability to sleep in beds
- Blocking of fishing and/or fishing rod hooking of entities
- Prevention of sheep shearing and/or cow milking
- Protection of placed TNT from ignition
Configurable Parameters:
forceSurvivalToAdventureMode (default = false): Global conversion of survival mode to adventure mode when players join the world with corresponding world creation screen interface updates.
preventAttackingCreatureMobs (default = false): Blocking damage to passive mobs in adventure mode.
preventAttackingMonsterMobs (default = false): Prevention of attacks on hostile mobs by adventure mode players.
preventEntityInteraction (default = false): Disabling right-click interaction with entities in adventure mode.
preventDestroyingPaintings (default = true): Protection of paintings from destruction in adventure mode.
preventDestroyingItemFrames (default = true): Prevention of item frame destruction in adventure mode.
preventLootingItemFrames (default = false): Blocking item extraction from frames in adventure mode.
preventBreakingMinecarts (default = false): Prohibition of minecart destruction in adventure mode.
allowPlacingMinecarts (default = true): Permission for minecart placement in adventure mode.
preventBreakingBoats (default = false): Prevention of boat destruction in adventure mode.
allowPlacingBoats (default = true): Permission for boat placement in adventure mode.
preventCreeperBlockDamage (default = true): Blocking of block destruction by creepers when exploding near adventure mode players.
preventUseOfEnderPearls (default = false): Prohibition of Ender Pearl usage in adventure mode.
preventBedSleeping (default = false): Blocking the ability to sleep in beds in adventure mode.
preventLightningTNT (default = false): Prevention of TNT ignition using flint and steel in adventure mode.
preventFishing (default = false): Prohibition of fishing rod usage in adventure mode.
preventFishingRodHookedEntities (default = true): Blocking fishing rod hooks on entities in adventure mode.
preventUseOfLeads (default = false): Prohibition of lead usage and destruction in adventure mode.
preventCowMilking (default = false): Blocking cow milking in adventure mode.
preventSheepShearing (default = false): Prohibition of sheep shearing in adventure mode.
