Frequently Asked Questions
How to become a Wraith?
To transform into a Wraith, you need to be a demon and right-click your respawn point (bed, respawn anchor, etc.) while incorporeal. To return to normal state, use a Cure or Demon Vessel, which can be obtained from Morticians.
How to resurrect from the ground?
Press the assigned dissociation key (check your controls settings) while surrounded by blocks. In incorporeal form, you can phase through blocks by pressing into them.
How to cook a spider eye?
Simply place it on a regular campfire!
What does "Second Wind" protect against?
This effect protects against most types of environmental damage:
- Fire
- Suffocation
- Falling
- Drowning
- Drying out (for squids and similar mobs)
- Water damage (for Endermen and Origins)
- Cramming (too many mobs in one place)
How does Memento Mori work?
Memento Mori stacks accumulate when curing with an active Attrition effect. These stacks are safely stored until your next death, after which Attrition instantly returns to its previous level. Stacks gradually decay over time, so just try not to die! Or configure this through game rules.
What is host rebellion?
At high Attrition levels (default 4 stacks), after the host's death something special happens: your host revives with full health, kicks you out and steals your items! The new rebel also gains the Bulwark effect, preventing you from possessing it again. Don't worry - the mob will be marked as persistent, and you can retrieve your items by defeating it!
What is enhanced detection?
Even after my detection system was added to main Requiem, I felt it was still too easy to wander through dungeons and collect loot without any danger. That's why I added this feature: at least one hostile mob within a small (configurable) radius will always attack the player. Now you'll have to be more aware of your surroundings - no more free loot!
Note: For versions <=1.16.5, a separate Memento Mori addon is available
