Aetheric Tetranomicon Mod
This mod enables the use of materials from the Aether and related add-ons within the Tetra tool modification system. Compatible with the base Aether, Deep Aether, Aether: Redux, Aether: Lost Content Addon, and Ancient Aether. Only the main Aether mod and Tetra are required - installing all listed add-ons is not necessary.
Materials and Their Properties
Base Aether:
- Gravitite - Levitator. Tools and weapons made from this material can launch blocks and creatures into the air.
- Zanite - Tenacity. Weapons and tools become more effective at lower durability.
- Phoenix - Phoenix Material. This weapons deal additional damage to burning targets, while tools automatically smelt harvested resources.
- Valkyrie - Valkyrian Steel. Increases the reach of tools and weapons.
- Holystone - Ambrosia Seeker. Has a chance to drop ambrosium when used.
- Skyroot - Harvester. Tools can yield double drops from certain blocks.
Deep Aether:
- Sunroot Hanger - excellent material for bowstrings
- Yagroot Vine - well-suited for bindings
- Skyjade - Brittle Strength. Reduces effectiveness when worn
- Various wood types for specific tool parts
Aether: Redux:
- Veridium - Infusable Strength. Right-click with ambrosium to temporarily increase mining speed
- Vitrium - Ambrosia Seeker. Excellent material for greatswords
- Several wood types with unique properties
Ancient Aether:
- Valkyrum - has the same properties as Valkyrian Steel
- Different wood types for bows and handles
Compatibility Features
Aetheric Essence: All tools and weapons are ineffective in the Aether without this effect. The vast majority of Aether materials automatically provide this ability to core modules, but do not affect handles and bindings. The exception is Valkyrian Steel - it can create bindings that transfer the Aetheric effect to any modular items.
Crafting Peculiarities
Items made of Phoenix and Valkyrie materials are dungeon treasures rather than craftable materials. To create modular items, you need scrap of the corresponding material. Melting one item in an altar yields three units of scrap (in version 1.19 - use a regular furnace). In version 1.20 with the Treasure Reforging add-on, you need to craft scrap from ingots.
Special Sockets
- Golden Amber - provides earthbinding and intuition
- Zanite - improves durability, damage, and efficiency
- Skyjade - increases movement speed and critical hit chance
Any tools created from the listed materials can be freely upgraded in the Tetra workbench.
