AHZNB's ShinobiCraft
Mod Description
This is a comprehensive Minecraft expansion inspired by the iconic Naruto anime. The modification features over a hundred unique jutsu techniques, more than thirty customization elements, and numerous additional functions. The project is in active development - upcoming plans include adding non-player characters, puppet constructs, summoned creatures, new techniques, and a mission system for more engaging character progression. We're excited to present the mod for beta testing and hope it brings you enjoyment!
Gameplay Features
This mod offers a fundamentally new approach compared to existing Naruto projects. The traditional clan system is absent here, but this doesn't limit your ability to learn diverse techniques - clan jutsu are represented in the form of kekkei genkai. Here are the main principles for mastering the modification:
Beginning Your Journey and Basic Knowledge
To start your ninja path, you'll need to craft one kunai and one shuriken - this will unlock the corresponding achievement. After this, you can accumulate ninja experience (ninjaxp) by attacking hostile mobs with bare hands or taking damage. Ninja experience represents your internal chakra energy - 2 units of ninjaxp equal 1 unit of chakra, with a maximum limit of 100,000 ninjaxp (50,000 chakra). Upon reaching 300 ninjaxp and 10 standard Minecraft levels, you'll receive your nature elements, basic ninjutsu, and a 30% chance to become a medical ninja. After surpassing the 300 ninjaxp threshold, you gain a 0.1% chance every second to obtain a random kekkei genkai.
Finding and Learning Techniques
To master jutsu, you'll need to find technique scrolls in various locations: dungeons, end cities, mineshafts, and Nether fortresses. Activate the scroll with right-click and select the learn option - the technique will now appear in your arsenal, but with a 0/150 indicator (or another number). This is the amount of jutsu experience (jutsuxp) required to activate the technique. To gain jutsuxp, select the desired jutsu on the corresponding item in your main or off-hand and attack hostile mobs.
Controls and Kekkei Genkai
The control settings include four keys: jutsu switching and three technique activation buttons. Switching is used to change techniques on a specific item or transition between Susanoo/tailed beast mode stages. Activation buttons are intended for users of special eyes: sharingan, byakugan, rinnegan, and tenseigan.
