AICA - All Item Collection Advancement

AICA is a datapack for Minecraft 1.19 that implements special advancements for collecting every item available in survival mode. With this addition, players get a convenient tool for tracking their collection - you can easily see which items have been found and which ones still need to be obtained.

Key System Features

Item classification system is organized according to biological taxonomy principles: classes, orders, families, genera, and species. The criterion for assigning items to specific categories is based on their internal identifier (namespace ID), where each unique identifier is considered a separate species. Items described in the same Minecraft Wiki article are grouped into one genus and share a common advancement.

Multi-level progression works as follows: each order opens its own separate advancements page where progress is activated only after collecting all items from subordinate categories. At the order and family levels, obtaining any single item is sufficient to activate the corresponding advancement.

Complete collection mode is represented by a separate advancements page with detailed breakdown of progress down to the order level. Each advancement on this page requires a complete collection of all associated items.

Compatibility and Recommendations

The datapack was created for version 1.19 and does not include items added in updates 1.20 and newer, but continues to function in later versions. For use in Minecraft 1.18 and older, manual removal of advancements for non-existent items will be required, which may be a labor-intensive task.

For maximum convenience, we recommend combining AICA with the AdvancementInfo mod - this significantly simplifies tracking incomplete achievements and provides more comfortable viewing of expanded progress pages.
