Alan's Bees - Unique Bee Modification for Classic Minecraft
Alan's Bees presents a special adaptation of bee mechanics for older Minecraft versions, which is not a simple port of Buzzy Bees. This modification creates a completely new bee ecosystem with expanded functionality and unique features.
The mod adds many interesting elements to the game:
- Live bees and various types of queen bees
- Special beehives and apiaries
- Pollinated saplings, trees, and leaves
- Bee nets for catching insects
- Honey bottles, honeycombs, and pollen
- Wax candles and honeycomb blocks
- Honey blocks and special dam blocks
- Bee spawn eggs and calming devices
Required Dependencies
For proper mod operation, the following are required:
- Back In Slime-1.7.10-3.1.6 by developer don_bruce
- Campfire Backport v1.11.3 or newer version by connor135246
Compatibility with Other Mods
Alan's Bees works excellently with:
- Pam's HarvestCraft - honey from this modification can be used in Pam's Harvestcraft recipes (it's recommended to disable hive generation in Pam's Harvestcraft configuration)
- WAILA - shows additional information about beehives, including honey level and activity status
- NEI - fully compatible
