Albedo

Albedo is a specialized graphics enhancement mod that functions as a core component for other modifications. Its main purpose is to create an advanced system of dynamic colored lighting in the game.

Currently, this is a compact solution that is in active development and testing stage. It's important to note that Albedo by itself doesn't add any new features to the game — it serves as a foundation upon which other mods can implement support for complex visual effects.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This mod makes significant changes to the game engine. For the lighting system to work, it requires deep intervention into rendering processes, which may cause issues on some systems. If you encounter problems, use the mod's in-game settings to disable the lighting system and check if this resolves the issue.

KNOWN ISSUES (version 1.12.2):

• OptiFine optimization uses similar methods to apply its shaders, therefore OptiFine shaders are incompatible with Albedo lighting. This also applies to OptiFine's built-in shaders.
• For reasons currently unknown, lighting changes from the Hardcore Darkness mod don't work together with Albedo. This issue will be investigated in future updates.
