Alembic - Elemental Damage System for Minecraft

The Alembic modification fundamentally transforms the game's combat system by introducing various types of elemental damage. This project is designed as a foundational basis for other mods and is fully managed through datapacks.
Features for Players
By default, Alembic divides damage into four main types: Physical, Fire, Arcane, and Alchemical. Each creature possesses unique resistances to these damage types, forcing players to select specialized protection against non-physical attacks. This mechanic significantly deepens the combat system - some mobs take increased damage from certain elements while others are nearly immune. For example, creepers take 50% more damage from fire, but blazes are completely immune to it, requiring tactical adjustments depending on the enemy.
Capabilities for Developers
Alembic is designed as a core for content modifications, providing advanced capabilities for creating complex systems. The project is fully data-driven, making it accessible to users of any skill level - even pre-installed content can be modified. There are no hardcoded elements in the system; if desired, any damage types can be disabled. Developers welcome using Alembic as a library for their own projects and are ready to provide support.
