Allayed
The Allayed mod significantly expands the functionality of Allays and Vexes, adding new capabilities and items to them. These mobs can now spawn with unique tools and weapons that possess special characteristics.
Main Features
The new Allay tools combine the best qualities of various materials: the damage and durability of iron weapons, the mining level of diamond tools, and the mining speed of gold tools. But that's far from all their advantages!
Flight with Allays
Holding an Allay tool near this mob grants you the ability to fly. This is incredibly convenient for building and moving around your base, although it causes character exhaustion.
Smart Block Placement
Right-clicking on a block with an Allay tool allows you to place a block from the adjacent inventory slot. Particularly useful for construction and resource gathering. When enchanted with Silk Touch, these tools can pick up containers (chests, furnaces, barrels) similar to Shulker Boxes.
Plasma Magnet
The Plasma Magnet is crafted from Plasma, which can be obtained by smelting Allay and Vex tools in furnaces. Placing the magnet in your offhand automatically sends all mined block drops directly into your inventory. Works with any enchantments, including Fortune and Silk Touch. Exception: containers with items inside, unless you have a tool with Silk Touch.
Additional Features
Infected Allays
Allays found in structures like outposts and mansions may be "infected". This isn't visually apparent, but within 1-7 in-game days, such an Allay will transform into a Vex.
Trading
Plasma is used not only for crafting but also for trading. Village Clerics offer Totems of Undying for 2-3 units of Plasma, while Wandering Traders give 12 emeralds for 1 Plasma.
Vex Weapons
Instead of iron swords, Vexes now spawn with new weapons - Vex Sword or Vex Axe (the latter being rarer). Although these weapons don't have the advantages of Allay tools, they can also be smelted into Plasma.
