AlPhAE's Letters
This mod was born from the need to create realistic road signs while building a map. The author wanted something more authentic than standard banners, which have limitations in displaying symbols and create visible gaps between elements. The solution came in the form of special blocks with letters, made in the classic blue color characteristic of road signs in many regions.
Main Features
The modification adds to the game blocks with symbols from various alphabets that can be combined to create inscriptions of any complexity. Each symbol is a full-fledged block with its own 3D model that replicates the shape of the letter or sign.

Practical Applications
The main purpose of the mod is creating realistic road signs. Here are several usage examples:
Road signs in different languages:

Settlement markers:

For marking exits from settlements, a special strikethrough block is available:

River and water body markers:

Architectural elements:
The blocks can be used not only for road signs but also for shop signs, house numbering, or creating sculptures:

Usage (Versions 1.19 and above)
Important: Starting from version 1.0, all letter blocks have separate 3D models!

Creating blocks: To obtain blocks with symbols, you need to process white concrete in a stonecutter:

Placement: Symbol blocks can be placed separately or on other blocks:

Lighting: Letter blocks can be illuminated using glowstone dust. To remove lighting, use any axe:

Coloring: Although the blocks are made of white concrete, they can be recolored using any dye:

Ferroconcrete: When concrete powder with bars is watered, white ferroconcrete is obtained, which cannot be recolored:

Combining with ferroconcrete: Symbols can be combined with ferroconcrete to create sign blocks:

To remove a symbol from ferroconcrete, use a hoe:

Additional Elements
The mod also includes technical blocks for creating more realistic structures:
Iron fences:
