Ambient Discs
Ambient Discs is a simple modification that transforms Minecraft's original soundtrack into music discs. Now you can listen to any composition from the game's soundtrack at any convenient time directly in the game.
How to get the discs?
Most discs can be obtained in the traditional way - when a skeleton kills a creeper. However, some records are found in chests or dropped by specific mobs. Below is a list of such discs.

Will other composers' tracks be added?
No, only those compositions that are already present in the vanilla version of the game. This is mainly due to licensing restrictions, as well as the fact that adding hundreds of music discs would make the mod too overloaded.
