The Amethyst Shield mod implements the brilliant concept of an amethyst shield in Minecraft, originally proposed by popular content creator Blockixel Artistry!

Combat at Another Level

This enhanced shield version represents an endgame item designed to boost player mobility and combat capabilities. The item's unique abilities perfectly complement skills in both PvP battles and monster encounters. The shield's charge replenishes through active character movement or successful blocking of enemy attacks.

Crafting and Required Components

Crafting the amethyst shield requires gathering several rare ingredients:

• 3 amethyst shards
• 1 regular shield
• 2 copper ingots
• 2 oxiwine bolts
• 1 sculk latch

Oxiwine bolts and sculk latch are completely new items that can be found through the following methods:

Oxiwine Bolts

Oxiwine bolts can be excavated with a brush in trail ruins. They belong to the rare loot category. These items also occasionally appear in trial chambers chests and among trial loot box rewards.

Sculk Latch

Sculk latch can be discovered in ancient city chests. This find is rarer than enchanted golden apples, so prepare for a real treasure hunt!

Combat Arsenal and Controls

The amethyst shield possesses four unique abilities:

Amethyst Vibration Burst

This powerful ability repels all nearby entities and deals damage to them. Activation consumes 50% of the shield's charge.
Activation: Hold right-click with the shield equipped and press the crouch key twice.

Amethyst Double Jump

This function allows performing an additional jump while airborne. An excellent solution for maneuverability — consumes 50% charge, enabling two consecutive double jumps.
Activation: Hold right-click with the shield equipped and press the jump key while in the air.

Sparkling Amethyst Sword

A combined ability merging double jump with a powerful sword attack. The character first performs a double jump, then swiftly dashes forward. Perfect for quickly covering distances vertically and horizontally while simultaneously dealing damage.
Activation: Perform a double jump, then immediately swing your sword to dash in the direction you're facing.

Sliding Amethyst

An ability focused on movement speed — the character performs a rapid slide forward, sideways, or backward depending on the pressed direction key.
Activation: Quickly double-click right mouse button with the shield equipped. To change direction, hold the corresponding movement key.

Amethyst Dispenser

A new functional block created by placing an amethyst cluster on a regular dispenser. The enhanced version shoots farther, more powerfully, and with absolute accuracy. The only drawback is significantly increased reload time.

Amethyst Monocle

This unique accessory can be excavated with a brush from suspicious blocks. The monocle is worn in the head slot instead of a helmet. When used, the location of nearby ore is displayed through special particles on block surfaces. Digging in the direction of these particles guarantees finding valuable ore. Detection occurs in passive mode without additional actions.
