Analog

This mod expands the capabilities of Simple Voice Chat by adding portable radios, as well as stationary transmitters and receivers for organizing radio communication to the game.

Main Features

You will have access to portable radios that you can carry with you. Also available are block transmitters that broadcast the voices of nearby players, and block receivers for listening to a selected channel in the background.

An interesting feature: you can hear someone else's radio, and your device can pick up another person's voice. Portable radios allow you to independently enable and disable the receive and transmit functions. 100 communication channels are available (this number can be changed in the settings). Radios have unlimited range, but only within the same dimension.

Starting from version 1.2.0, transmitters can broadcast music from nearby jukeboxes, including custom discs from the AudioPlayer mod. Receivers in the same version start outputting a comparator signal when receiving a transmission.

How to Use the Devices

Radio

To use the portable radio: hold it in your hand and right-click to open the interface. Use the up and down buttons to select the desired channel. Press the ON button - by default, receive mode is activated, and you will start listening to the selected channel. The Transmit button allows you to turn the broadcast of your voice and the voices of nearby players on and off. The Receive button controls listening to the channel. Starting from version 1.1.0, you can quickly toggle transmit mode by pressing the F key (swap hands) while holding the radio.

Transmitter

To use the block transmitter: right-click on it to open the interface. Select a channel using the up and down buttons. Press ON, and the transmitter will start broadcasting the voices of nearby players.

Receiver

To use the block receiver: right-click on it to open the interface. Select a channel with the up and down buttons. Press ON, and the receiver will tune to the channel and play everything broadcast on it.

Crafting Recipes

Transmitter Recipe To craft a transmitter, you need two redstone dust, two copper ingots, and a glass block.
Receiver Recipe To create a receiver, you need one redstone dust, two copper ingots, a note block, and an amethyst shard.
Radio Recipe The radio is created by combining a transmitter and a receiver.

Important for Servers

For the Analog mod to work, clients must install it on their side or activate the resource pack. For a fully server-side setup, you can use Polymer Autohost, which automatically sends the resource pack to clients.
