Animal Garden - Manatee

This modification introduces players to manatees, also known as sea cows - peaceful giants of Minecraft's aquatic world.

Habitats and Behavior

These calm creatures inhabit river flows and coastal areas. Their normal movement speed is quite slow, but when in danger, manatees can develop significant acceleration.

Interaction and Care

These marine inhabitants can be lured using sea grass and kelp. A feature of the mob is the dynamic algae growth on their back after prolonged stay in aquatic environments (5-10 minutes). For cleaning vegetation, use sponge or brush - these tools maintain their integrity.

While caring for manatees, you may discover various items that got stuck on their body during travels through shallow waters. The loot-item drop mechanics are separately configurable.

Configuration and Compatibility

Additional generation parameters can be adjusted through configuration files: in Forge through biome modifiers and tags, in Fabric a separate configuration file is used. Users can adjust cleaning elements, manatee food, and the item drop system.
