Hunting with Traps in Minecraft

Animals Trap is a compact addition that introduces hunting elements and trap setting into the game. Now you can prepare special devices for catching small animals and wild birds.

The mod introduces several new items, including various types of traps and additional loot — carcasses of wild animals.

Trap Creation and Usage Process

To begin, you'll need to create a wooden box from planks. Then prepare bait — process seeds with a knife to obtain effective lure.

Plant fibers are obtained by using a knife on grass. From these fibers, you can twist strong plant string and twine.

Take sticks, place the box on the ground and secure the base with a stick. Attach twine to the stick, and fasten the prepared bait to the string.

When the trap is fully ready, all that remains is to wait patiently. The catching process can take from several hours to several days, and success is not guaranteed — the animal might not fall into your snare.

Important requirement: For Animals Trap mod to work properly, you need to install the HardRock Tools & Materials modification.
