This mod addresses the issue of excessive mob farming by reducing loot drops in world areas where too many creatures have been killed. The main idea is to make mass mob extermination in one location less profitable while not interfering with normal gameplay.

How it works

The system tracks the number of kills within each chunk. While you move around the world and eliminate random mobs, you'll hardly notice any changes. However, if you create an automatic farm that constantly kills creatures in one location, loot efficiency will sharply decrease.

Key features

  • Free kills: Each chunk provides a certain number of kills without any penalties. This allows you to safely explore caves or clear structures of hostile creatures.

  • Dynamic penalty: After exceeding the free kill limit, a penalty system activates. The more mobs you kill in one place, the higher the chance they stop dropping loot. Over time, this penalty gradually decreases, allowing you to return to that area later.

Ideal application

The mod is perfect for RPG and adventure modpacks where developers want to prevent resource automation through farms. It encourages the classic playstyle: exploring different locations, clearing them of threats, and moving to new territories.

The system is balanced so that in most situations players won't feel negative impact. The exception might be modpacks with frequent base raids and invasions.
