Minecraft Version Compatibility

Apathy mod is available for the following game versions:

• 1.21.1 - Fabric and Neoforge (ported by Calico)
• 1.20.1 - Fabric and Forge
• 1.19.4 - Fabric and Forge
• 1.19.2 - Fabric and Forge
• 1.18.2 - Fabric and Forge
• 1.17.1 - Fabric (discontinued due to low adoption)
• 1.16.5 - Fabric

Note that the Forge version for 1.16 is missing due to technical mapping issues that make cross-platform mod development impossible.

What Does Apathy Do?

Apathy is a completely rewritten and expanded version of the Apathetic Mobs mod with extensive configuration options. The main function is controlling mob aggressiveness towards players.

Main Features

You can completely disable mob aggression or configure it using a flexible rule system. Aggressiveness can depend on:

• current world difficulty level
• mob type
• mob tags
• and many other parameters

Advanced Rule System

For experienced users, a JSON rule system is available, allowing creation of complex scenarios with integration of:

• vanilla scoreboard system
• achievements
• location
• biomes

Additional Functions

• Disabling or weakening combat scenarios with the Ender Dragon and Wither
• PvE participation opt-in system through adding players to special sets
