The End is Near!
The Apocalypse Rebooted mod fundamentally changes gameplay by gradually increasing difficulty through a unique level system! As your difficulty level rises, mobs start spawning with improved stats, equipment, and potions. Every full moon night (every 8 days) a real siege begins - special monsters appear that specialize in breaking through your defenses. And if you're unlucky, acid rain might start, so don't forget to wear head protection!
Most mod features can be configured and disabled according to your preferences.

- Sleeping increases difficulty twice as fast as staying awake at night

WARNING: Explosions!
Some mobs in this mod explode things and have unlimited aggression range (Destroyers, Breachers, and Seekers). If you don't like having your base blown to pieces, we strongly recommend checking the mod's settings!

Q: Can I use this mod in my modpack? A: Yes, of course!
Q: How to set maximum difficulty and grace period on a server? A: This is configured in the mod's server configuration. You can find the settings using the /forge config command in-game or in the serverconfigs folder inside your server's world folder.
Q: My difficulty isn't increasing, what's happening? A: If you're still in the grace period, your difficulty won't rise above 0. By default, the grace period is set to 1.0, equivalent to a full game day. In creative mode, difficulty also doesn't increase.
Q: Many full moon siege mobs can see me through walls and have infinite tracking range! What is this? A: Yes! Most full moon siege mobs can track you from infinite distances, and some can sense you through walls. If you don't want to encounter these monsters, you can "disable" them in the mod's settings.
Q: Can I disable the difficulty system? A: Not exactly, but you can set maximum difficulty to zero. As long as difficulty remains at 0, most mod features remain inactive.
