
Aqualine
Fishing in Minecraft has always been quite a boring activity, but the Aqualine mod dramatically changes this situation! It completely reworks the fishing system, turning it into an exciting and useful process for the player with progression elements.
Fishing Levels
Each caught fish or sea creature gives you fishing experience. With every 5 fishing levels gained, you receive an additional heart of maximum health. More experience is required as the level increases, and the maximum level can be configured for balance in mod packs.
Fishing Rods
Seven new fishing rods with unique characteristics and bonuses have been added to the game. Fishing speed has become a separate parameter, independent of the Lure enchantment. The ability to use the Luck parameter to increase the chances of catching rare items has also been added.
Baits
You can create special fishing baits that provide various bonuses. Baits are automatically consumed from inventory during fishing, and their effects are applied to your fishing line.
Catching Creatures
Now you can catch sea creatures as loot, which spawn in the world! Some of them are peaceful, others may be hostile. New sea creatures with special drops related to fishing have been added. Integration with other mods is also provided to add their creatures to the possible loot list.
Data Configuration
To integrate fishing into your progression or customize it to your preferences, the loot system has become more flexible and manageable through data. A rarity system is used, allowing you to add or modify both items and entities. Please note: the standard vanilla fishing rod has not been modified so that players can use loot tables from other mods. To use the modified fishing system, you need to create an Aqualine fishing rod.
