Arachnid Ascendancy Modification

Welcome to the world of Arachnid Ascendancy! This mod enriches Minecraft with new spiders and spider structures, creating additional challenges for players while maintaining the recognizable vanilla atmosphere of the game.

New Spider Species

Spider Queen

Meet the main boss version of the spider! The Spider Queen has 80 health points and deals 8 damage. She inhabits only the Underground Spider Nest. After defeating her, multiple mini-spiders appear, and various ore ingots drop, sometimes even diamonds. Additionally, the Queen leaves an egg that can be used to obtain a Spider Minion.

Mini Spider

A tiny spider that appears only in the Underground Spider Nest. Despite having only 4 health points and dealing just 1 damage, its small size makes it an extremely difficult target to hit.

Stone Spider

A light gray spider that can appear in caves and most overworld biomes. Has 32 health points and deals 6 damage. Immune to damage from cacti, fire, potions, wither, arrows, and dragon breath. When defeated, leaves stone, spider eyes, and string behind.

Desert Spider

A sand-colored spider inhabiting deserts and the Desert Spider Nest. Has 16 health points, deals 3 damage. After defeat, drops sand, spider eyes, and string.

Shadow Spider

A black spider with red eyes that is very difficult to spot. Appears in most overworld biomes. Has 16 health points and deals 3 damage. After death, leaves black dye, ink sacs, string, and spider eyes.

Sentinel Spider

A gray spider with a lighter-colored rear end that shoots webs at the player. Has 15 health points, its webs deal 5 damage to the player. Upon defeat, leaves spider eyes and string.

Spider Minion

A friendly spider that can be tamed with raw meat. Once tamed, follows the player around. Has 32 health points and deals 6 damage. Does not drop any loot. There are two types of eggs for this mob: one for creative mode only, the second can be dropped by the Spider Queen.

New Structures

Underground Spider Nest

This lair serves as home to the Spider Queen and contains spawners for mini-spiders and regular spiders. The nest has uneven ground with webs along the edges, while the central area is flatter and clearer. The ceiling features stalactites and additional webbing.

Desert Spider Nest

Located beneath the desert surface. Represents a cave with a collapsed staircase, complex terrain, webs, and water. As a reward for exploration, contains a diamond block, as well as two desert spider spawners.
