Arcane Caches - Mysterious Vaults with Unique Loot

We present to you the first release of this data pack, created to implement an interesting gameplay concept. Although functionality has been thoroughly tested, the balance of game mechanics may require additional adjustments. We will be grateful for constructive suggestions to improve the balance.

Main Features

This data pack adds rare structures with exceptionally valuable treasures to the world, surpassing in quality everything that can be obtained in vanilla survival. Periodically, wandering traders appear in the world offering maps to find the nearest caches.

Usage Recommendations

For optimal results, it is recommended to install this data pack before creating a new world. Standard Minecraft generation adds structures only to freshly generated chunks. Due to the rarity of these structures, extensive exploration of new territories may be required in existing worlds.

The data pack uses loot tables with luck modifiers. When used together with other modifications that allow increasing the player's luck stat, excessively generous loot may be generated.

Multiplayer Features

Development was carried out with multiplayer mode in mind. Although structures are rare, their generation is frequent enough for players at late game stages to find new caches. All random events are unique for each player.

When installing on a server with a known world seed, administrators are recommended to change the salt values in the structure files located in the 'data/arcane_caches/worldgen/structure_set/' folder to prevent players from finding caches in single-player worlds.
