Arcanus
Arcanus is a compact magic modification that opens up the possibility for players to create their own spells. The casting system resembles the mechanics from Wynncraft. Begin your magical journey by finding the Wizard's Tower, donning a hat, and speaking with the wizard at the top.

Spell Creation
To create a spell, you'll need to craft a spellbook and place it on a lectern. Depending on the number of knowledge scrolls obtained from the local Wizard, you'll see various spell shapes on the left and magical effects on the right. These shapes and effects can be combined into chains, creating fully customizable spells. The only limitations to their power are the mana cost and your own imagination.

Spell shapes determine how effects are delivered to the target. For example, the "self" shape applies linked effects to the caster, while the "projectile" shape affects everything it hits. Magical effects are more obvious—these are the working parts of the spell, such as dealing damage or freezing.
Casting System
To cast a spell, you need to combine mouse inputs corresponding to one of the 8 slots on your staff. Each mouse input also corresponds to a specific shape: square for left button, circle for right button. When casting a spell, you'll see these shapes around your crosshair, and other players will see them in front of your character model.

Documentation and Settings
The mod is fully documented in the in-game book "Compedium Arcanus". I highly recommend reading it to understand all aspects of the modification! Full configuration is also available, including the ability for pack creators to completely disable specific spell shapes or magical effects.
