ArchaicFix
ArchaicFix mod is a comprehensive solution for fixing errors and optimizing performance in Minecraft version 1.7.10. This project includes numerous improvements that make gameplay smoother and more stable.
Main Advantages
One of the key features of ArchaicFix is the elimination of the famous client-side stuttering, which is particularly noticeable in biomes with intensive lighting updates, such as jungles. The mod significantly reduces these issues, providing more comfortable gameplay.
ArchaicFix includes a backport of the Phosphor lighting system. Although the original repository is no longer available, this implementation is based on the closest fork to the original for version 1.12, preserving all main functions.
Additional Optimizations
The mod offers an improved version of occlusion culling, which is disabled by default due to incompatibility with OptiFine and FastCraft. Also implemented are threaded chunk updates that reduce stuttering when placing blocks - this feature is also disabled by default due to similar compatibility limitations.
In addition to the main optimizations, ArchaicFix fixes many other vanilla game issues and eliminates some common annoyances found in other mods.
Technical Requirements
For the latest versions of ArchaicFix to work, installation of a compatible mixin loader such as UniMixins that supports GTNHMixins is required.
