Armor Adjustment
Armor Balance Changes
This mod fundamentally reworks the armor protection system in Minecraft. Now less durable armor types like leather provide significantly better protection, while more powerful options like diamond armor become less effective, though still superior to iron armor in terms of protection level.
The modification perfectly complements other mods that increase maximum armor and toughness values. It's recommended to use it alongside additions like AttributeFix to achieve optimal balance.
Technical feature: the mod is implemented via Mixin, which means possible incompatibility with other modifications that alter the same game functions.
Settings and Capabilities
Version 1.2 introduced the ability to fine-tune basic armor and toughness parameters through configuration files. You can adjust divisors for both parameters, making them more or less significant in gameplay.
For visual representation of damage system changes, demonstration graphs are available:
- Old version (pre-1.2)
- New version (1.2 and above)
Important: The mod is developed exclusively for Forge and no porting to Fabric or older Minecraft versions is planned. Support will only be provided for new game versions.
