Armor & damage scaling[Forge/Fabric] - Armor and Damage Balancing

This mod fundamentally reworks the protection and damage system in Minecraft, making gameplay more balanced and predictable.

Improved Armor Protection

In the original game version, armor protection works unevenly - for example, when switching from iron to diamond armor, protection suddenly doubles. The mod changes this system, making each armor point uniformly reduce incoming damage by a certain percentage. This allows armor from other mods with high protection values to remain useful without becoming too powerful.

One-Shot Protection

Armor toughness now works as an additional layer of protection that strengthens proportionally to the potential damage from a hit. This significantly reduces the likelihood of instant death from one powerful strike.

Compatibility with Other Mods

The mod normalizes player-inflicted damage, reducing the huge differences in attack power of items from various mods. This ensures better compatibility and balance between different addons.
