Armored Mobs
Every mod feature is highly customizable through configuration files.
Armored Mobs fundamentally transforms Minecraft gameplay balance by enhancing undead mob spawn mechanics. Skeletons, zombies, and similar creatures now frequently appear equipped with randomly selected armor variations based on your current world difficulty setting.
This introduces new survival challenges—especially at higher difficulty levels where enemies can spawn with enchanted armor equipment. The mod caps maximum armor tier at diamond level for balance purposes, deliberately excluding netherite equipment to prevent gameplay from becoming overly simplistic.
Easy Difficulty
Creatures can wear leather, chainmail, or golden armor variants. Better armor types appear with decreasing probability.
Normal Difficulty
Available armor expands to include iron tier alongside basic options. Enchantments become possible (1-10 levels) with rare occurrence frequency. Superior armor remains less common.
Hard Difficulty
Full armor spectrum covers leather through diamond tiers. Enchantment frequency increases significantly (3-30 levels), maintaining the inverse relationship between armor quality and spawn likelihood.
