ArmorToHealth

ArmorToHealth is an experimental modification that fundamentally changes how armor works in the game. Instead of traditional damage protection, each armor piece now increases your character's maximum health.

Settings and Flexibility

The mod offers extensive customization options to suit your playstyle. You can adjust various parameters to personalize the mod's behavior. There's also functionality for natural health regeneration for both players and mobs, including tags to blacklist certain creatures from automatic healing. This feature is disabled by default.

Game Mechanics

Unlike the standard system, health recovery might now require more effort, but the extra durability makes you more resilient to various threats—such as poison, suffocation, or fall damage.

Note that protection enchantments remain unchanged and function as usual.

Recommended Combinations

This mod pairs particularly well with other modifications that simplify eating and healing mechanics. Excellent companions include and mods inspired by Minecraft's beta style, as well as "Hearty Meals."
