Ars Theurgia
A Fabric modification that provides access to various ancient magical arts with multiple development paths that players can choose as they progress.
The project is in active development and was created specifically for FallFest 1.16 — a modfest dedicated to creating content for Minecraft. Currently, the beginning of the Mesopotamian magic path has been implemented, but developers plan to significantly expand the mod's capabilities and add other ancient magical traditions.
The mod requires Fabric API and GeckoLib library to function.
Main Features
System of clay tablets and scrolls — ancient grimoires that need to be restored to uncover secret knowledge about magic from the past.
Numerous new items related to ancient cultures, necessary for proper ritual and ceremony performance.
Explore ancient ruins in deserts and on seabeds where treasures for magical rites are stored. Use a trowel to search for valuable artifacts in raw mud blocks.
Find reports and stories hidden in various structures that tell about ancient travelers and ordinary people. These texts will help you better understand ancient civilizations' culture and successfully perform ceremonies.
Diverse ritual system with its own logic and progression, including multiple stages and complex block structures. The system is easily expandable and modifiable.
Ability to summon mythical creatures from real mythologies to assist in adventures, as well as using mythological weapons and combat equipment.
To begin mastering the mod, it's recommended to explore pyramids and ruins while reading found tablets (a dictionary in inventory is required for reading). These texts will serve as a guide to rituals and progression in the mod.
Be cautious when delving into dark arts — if you lose your way in black magic, you might make an irreversible sacrifice from which there's no return. Consequences will be severe, and gods will turn away from you.
