What is ARA?
Arthys' RPG Armory (ARA) was originally created for a small group of friends on a private server but has been completely reworked and balanced for widespread multiplayer use. The mod adds various artifacts and weapons that can be found in structures scattered throughout the overworld. Each item serves a specific purpose, like a tool in a toolbox. How you decide to use these tools is entirely up to you. However, for some particularly powerful items such as the creeping totem and weather controllers, server administrators can set restrictions through game rules.
How to Start Playing?
When first launching in a new world, you'll see a message in chat reminding you to regularly check for mod updates, as you might be playing on an outdated version. After that, it's recommended to gear up in iron armor as usual and go search for a village. The new villager profession - Artificer - allows you to trade for any non-craftable artifact from the mod. If you can't find an Artificer, create an infusing table and find an unemployed villager.
Recommended Mods to Use With?
Starting from version 1.19.2, ARA is fully compatible with Better Combat. Another mod from the same developer - Combat Roll - while not a mandatory requirement, is highly recommended for use alongside this mod. Curios API is necessary since the new pendant items only work when equipped in the necklace slot.
