Simplified Villager Relocation
Mod Attract Villagers offers two innovative techniques for attracting villagers and wandering traders, completely eliminating the need for railways or boat transportation.
Two Main Attraction Methods
You can choose one of two interaction options with characters:
Following mode - by holding an emerald block in your hand, you make nearby residents and traders follow you, much like animals following their favorite food.
Collection mode - by scattering emeralds along your route, you create a natural incentive for civilians to pick them up and move along your designated path. This service involves consuming your resources.
Performance Settings
Each attraction method can be enabled or disabled at any time. Both techniques are available by default. For managing the modification's operation, the following game commands are provided:
For managing the following mode:
/function pk_at_vi:settings/mode/follow/true
/function pk_at_vi:settings/mode/follow/false
/function pk_at_vi:settings/mode/follow/get
For managing the collection mode:
/function pk_at_vi:settings/mode/pickup/true
/function pk_at_vi:settings/mode/pickup/false
/function pk_at_vi:settings/mode/pickup/get
Functional Features
- Local residents and wandering traders characterized by the NoAI tag or showing signs of movement via vehicles are not affected by attraction.
- The psychological influence radius of emerald objects extends 10 blocks.
- To block influence on specific characters, the pk.at_vi.untemptable tag assignment is required.
- Players can modify the list of materials serving as bait in the module's general settings (./data/pk_at_vi/tags/items/
.json).
