AutoFish for Forge
This modification offers one of the most accurate methods for automatic fishing in Minecraft Forge. It is fully client-side and compatible with vanilla servers, as well as most other servers due to the absence of Mixin usage.
How to Use
1. Configure hotkeys in the control menu 2. Activate mod functions using assigned keys 3. Open the interface to set recast delay (in ticks) and item filter 4. Cast your fishing rod into water - the mod will automatically catch fish
Note: Delay configuration is available in version 1.1.0 and above. Item filter does not work in multiplayer.
Usage Safety
Using the mod on public servers is not recommended as it provides unfair advantages. Use it only in singleplayer or on private servers at your own risk.
Demonstration
Creation History
The mod was created in response to changes in update 1.16, where Mojang significantly weakened automatic fish farms by removing the possibility of obtaining treasures in old designs. New designs proved less effective, so this mod was developed to allow automatic fishing in version 1.16+ while maintaining access to treasures.
Working Principle
The mod uses a simple but effective mechanism: it tracks the movement of the bobber in water. When the vertical movement of the bobber becomes weak enough, the system determines that a fish is caught and automatically reels it in, obtaining the catch.
Development Plans
- Porting the interface to older versions - Creating an alternative version with added fishing rod enchantments
Known Issues
Sometimes false triggering occurs during reeling.
License
The mod is distributed under GNUv3 license, allowing users to create their own forks and modifications.
